The Global Journey Story
I am so excited about what the Lord is doing through Global Journey! God has put a calling on my heart to start a mission organization that takes the Hope of Christ around the world, while making a life changing impact in those who journey with us.
The Lord has graciously given me the opportunity to travel around the world 6 times to over 30 countries. On these trips the Lord has forever changed me and put a passion in my heart for giving others a similar opportunity.
Since we ran our pioneer trip in 2008, I have been blessed to see Global Journey grow. We continue to travel back to most of the same missionaries we worked with on our very first trip and love getting to invest in their ministries each summer! We also add a couple new stops each summer as more teams are sent out. I love to see how the Lord continues to open doors for us to invest in more and more countries.
My prayer for this ministry is that many people will discover a passion for missions through their experience with Global Journey. Whether participants are called back to a place they visit or never leave the country again, I hope they are made aware of their calling in life, learn to live with a purpose where they are, and are more conscious of the world's needs. I pray that Global Journey will be the adventure that the Lord uses to impact people for lifetimes!
The mission of Global Journey is to Matthew 28:19 while living out Mark 12:30-31 lifestyles.
Matthew 28:19 - "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Mark 12:30-31 - "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
Our Core Beliefs
• To set into motion a new generation seeking to live on mission for Christ
• To disciple participants and help them find God's calling on their lives
• To encourage, motivate, and train participants to disciple others
• To share Jesus with a world in need
• To build lasting relationships with missionaries in other countries
• To expose participants to different cultures, types of mission work, and needs of the world
